Typeform free plan: 10 responses a month
Ten responses a month.
Number eleven
meets a closed form.
Typeform’s free plan collects 10 responses a month in total, across every form on your account, with one user and Typeform’s branding. It is not a 2026 cut: Typeform moved free accounts from 100 responses to 10 in late 2021. Reviewers describe the tenth as a hard stop: the form takes no more responses until the next month. The cheapest way past it is Basic, $39 a month for 100 responses. Below: what Free includes, the dated record, the day of the month your own form would close, and a receipt that prices the same responses on Typeform and on Builderify Quizzes.

Typeform free plan limits,
line by line.
Free is generous on building and strict on collecting. You can make as many typeforms as you like, with logic, scoring and calculations, so a scored quiz works. What runs out is responses: ten a month, shared by every form you have, counted from the start of each month.
Reviewers describe the tenth response as a hard stop: the form turns later visitors away and their answers are not recorded. Typeform’s help page also says it experiments with its plans, so check what your own account shows.

Basic is $28 a month billed yearly. Responses and logic are from Typeform’s help centre; users and branding removal as reported by Growform and Carly, whose yearly prices for the other plans disagree, so only monthly prices are shown. Over 10,000 responses, Typeform sells Growth and Enterprise plans.
Did Typeform cut its free plan
to 10 responses in 2026?
No. Several 2026 articles say Typeform cut free accounts from 100 responses to 10 in February 2026. Typeform’s own community posts put that change in 2021: new accounts got the 10-response plan from 8 June 2021, and older free accounts were moved to it from late 2021, with a staff reply in December saying January.
What did change more recently is the price of the next step. If ten responses feels new to you, the likely reason is an older account that kept 100 until it was migrated, or a form that has only now found enough visitors to hit the cap.
“Typeform cut its free plan from 100 to 10 responses in February 2026.”
100 to 10 responses happened in 2021–22, by Typeform’s own posts. In February 2023 it removed Free’s 10-question limit.
-
Before June 2021
The old Free plan: 100 responses a month, 3 typeforms, 10 questions each.
-
New accounts start on a new Free plan: 10 responses a month across all forms, unlimited typeforms.
-
Typeform announces it is moving older free accounts to the new plan. A staff reply in December says the migration should happen in January.
-
Typeform removes the 10-question limit per form on Free. The 10 responses stay.
-
2025–2026
Paid plans get dearer: Basic from $29 to $39 a month, Plus from $59 to $79, Business from $99 to $129, as reviewers report.
Is 10 responses a month
enough for your quiz?
Ten responses is roughly one finished quiz every three days. Put in how many people start yours and how many finish, and the month below shows the day the tenth response lands and how many people after it are turned away.
- Responses
- 72
- Turned away
- 62
After that, 62 people a month finish your questions and find the form closed. Typeform's cheapest plan for 72 responses is Basic, $39 a month.
Responses are spread evenly over the month. Real traffic is lumpier: a newsletter or an ad can use all ten in an afternoon. The ten are shared with every other form on the account.
A plan priced by responses,
or credits priced by traffic?
Typeform charges by how many responses you collect. Builderify charges by the pages your widget loads on and the leads it captures, with no response cap. Same numbers as the calendar above.
Billed monthly. Paying yearly costs less; Basic is $28 a month that way.
Covered by the 250 free credits every month.
Start freeBuilderify at its published rate card: 1 credit a new lead, 10 per 1,000 page loads of the widget, 250 free credits a month, one-time packs from $9. Page loads count every page the widget is on, not only the quiz. The two products are not the same shape; section 05 says how.
A Typeform alternative
for quizzes on your own site.
Builderify Quizzes runs a scored quiz inside the floating widget on your own website. Each answer carries points, the total lands in a band, and each band has its own result screen and its own lead list, so a warm lead can start a follow-up sequence on its own once they confirm their email.
It is narrower than Typeform. It is a quiz that qualifies visitors on your site, not a form builder for everything; if you need a link to share, payments or integrations, Typeform or a form tool fits better. The lead scoring quiz guide covers how to write the questions and set the bands.
What Quizzes does
- No cap on responses, questions, answers or bands
- Single choice, multiple choice, 1–10 scales and free text
- Points per answer, score bands and a result screen for each
- Jumps per answer or per question
- Email asked before the result, or offered after it
- Every response saved, partial ones too, with a per-question drop-off funnel
- A lead list per band, with answers saved as custom fields
Not yet
- A shareable quiz link, an inline embed or a popup: it opens in the widget
- More than one live quiz per website
- Image choices, file uploads, payments or signatures
- Hidden fields, variables or redirect on finish
- Webhooks, Zapier or Google Sheets, or a CSV of answers
- Quiz text in other languages
Quiz leads confirm their email before they join a list, which needs your own sending domain set up in Broadcast. The widget shows “Powered by Builderify”; hiding it is 1,500 credits, once per website. If the credit balance runs out, the widget pauses.

You want lots of responses for free and can live with a small badge.

The quiz lives on your website, and every finisher should land in a list by score.
Builderify Quizzes. No response cap, a list per band and a drop-off funnel, on 250 free credits a month. It opens in the site widget; if you need a link to share elsewhere, pick one of the tools above.
Typeform's free plan, before you ask.
Ten a month in total, shared by every form on your account, with one user and Typeform's branding. You can build unlimited typeforms with logic, scoring and calculations; what runs out is responses. The count starts again each month.
No. Typeform's own community posts show the change from 100 responses to 10 happened in 2021: new accounts got the 10-response plan from 8 June 2021, and older free accounts were moved to it from late 2021, with a staff reply in December 2021 saying January. In February 2023 Typeform removed the 10-question limit on Free.
Reviewers describe it as a hard stop: the form takes no more responses until the next month, and anyone who tries is turned away without their answers being recorded. The ten are shared with every other form on the account, so one busy form can close the rest.
Basic is $39 a month billed monthly, or $28 a month billed yearly, for 100 responses and one user. Plus is $79 a month for 1,000 responses and three users, and Business is $129 a month for 10,000 responses and five users, as listed on 8 October 2026. Monthly prices rose from $29, $59 and $99, as reviewers report.
Tally's free plan allows unlimited forms and submissions within its fair use guidelines, with logic and calculations. For a scored quiz on your own website, Builderify Quizzes has no response cap and puts each finisher in a lead list by score band, on 250 free credits a month; it opens in the site widget rather than as a shareable link.
